Sign read "Beware of dog"..Brother told me Jehovah will protect us. As soon as we took about 5 steps around the corner this dog came charging, we back up out side of the gate and closed it. Householder open his front door and yell, can't you fools read. That gate protected us, not Jehovah...

Your Most Embarrassing Door Knocking Experiences
by pale.emperor inif there's one thing we can look back on and laugh and tell our kids it's the fact that knocking on strangers doors at inopportune times results in some funny or embarrassing experiences.
i'd be interested in hearing some of yours.
here's some of mine to get the ball rolling:.

How many disfellowshipped ones are there in your cong?
by Yesu Kristo Bwana Wangu inin the congregation that i used to go to, there were a lot of disfellowshipped ones that were once part of the cong.
also, a lot of witnesses here have family members that are disfellowshipped.
one family has a daughter that the family has been shunning for decades now.

I wish Russia send a letter to the GB and ask what is the situation in Australia with the ARC,not in our country until you clean up your act. I'am sure the GB will send letters to all the congregations stating what the Russia government is asking. No way will that happen, the RF will know about the ARC and their dirty laundry.

Have you ever believed something that turned out to be wrong?
by slimboyfat inapart, of course, from the obvious example of believing the evidence-free assertion of the governing body to be god's representatives on earth.
not to side-step that issue, but i wonder if it might be interesting to relate that huge mistake to other things i've been wrong about and how they compare and contrast with the big one.
a couple of examples of things i was wrong about:.

Has anyone here joined a different church after ditching the JWs?
by NikL ini am just curious.. i have a cousin who is a baptist and his church streams their sunday services and i've been checking them out before i go to meeting with my jw wife.. i haven’t been to a church except for the occasional funeral and wedding and the only sermons i had heard were the tel-evangelist type.
anyway, all the church bashing by jws over the years made me unsure what to expect and i was pleasantly surprised.
they do use the bible and they don't spend the whole time begging for money.

I join the church I grew up in as a child because I had good memories, but I was a child. Not the same when you become a adult after reading the bible.

Reading Deuteronomy chapter 28 , oh my!
by Crazyguy inwhat's telling chapter!
in the first 15 verses if one kept the laws and pure worship of the temples god things were great and you would be blessed.
but starting in verse 16 if you didn't holy cow!

Jehovah of the OT has multiple personality. Not sure if he suffer trauma during his childhood, but anyone that can literally dissociate himself from a situation or experience that's too violent, traumatic or painful to assimilate with his conscious self has a split personality...I believe GOD and Satan are the same, he sits in one chair and talks to himself, Satan..

Why are Republican's so consistantly dishonest?
by Coded Logic init hasn't gone unnoticed that the republicans who are saying, "we need to get to the bottom of the obama wiretapping" and "let's investigate this" - are the same people, when it comes to trump's russian ties, who are saying, "we shouldn't look at this at all - it's just a bunch of lies and hype.".
no evidence whatsoever for claims about obama need a congressional investigation.
but mountains of evidence about trump with more coming out everyday can be swept under the rug.

Republicans's don't like changes so they are honest in what they are seeking. -

What We Truly Deserve Is...Death, Really WT?
by JW_Rogue ini have seen this statement or similar ones popping up in the study edition of the wt lately.
whenever they talk about undeserved kindness or jesus ransom they add this little gem to get the point across.
this is sick, why do they feel the need to tear down people's self esteem?

Jehovah knew 7000 years ago that when I came into this world I would be a Apostate even though I have free will. Make sense??? Just a lot of BS in that book.....
